County Awards Night
On Wednesday 19th April, our County hosted its annual awards night, to celebrate the achievement, and recognise the service of leaders within South London. This saw 64 members receive awards. At the 27th Woolwich, we had three leaders receive awards for their service to scouting. The evening was hosted by two explorer scouts who compered the entire event. A big well done to Laurie, from our Badgers Explorer Unit, who was one of the two hosts.

The award recipients from our group were:
Joanne Nichols. Beaver Scout Leader. Who received the Chief Scout’s Commendation for good service to scouting.

Andrew Barber. Explorer Scout Leader, and District Explorer Scout Commissioner. Who received the Award for Merit for outstanding service to scouting.

Simon Emmett. Scout Leader, and Deputy County Commissioner. Who received the Bar to the Award for Merit for further outstanding service to scouting.

Well done, and thank you, to you all.
